Hello
I hope that you will be able to use this site to tell people about the wildlife that you see in North Somerset

Judith
I hope that you can post some messages on this blogsite. There are lots of things that we could publicise here. It will even take notices for future meetings - good for publicity!
It can almost double as a website to which people can contribute. All you need is a Google user name and password to enter a message, but these are not needed if you just want to read the message.

Who are we?
Parish Wildlife Wardens are people who care about the future of our wildlife and want to improve local habitats and biodiversity - in our gardens, in our parishes and in North Somerset as a whole.

Our Objectives
To promote wildlife issues
· Recording, monitoring and identifying areas of wildlife interest.

· Acting as a link between the community and relevant bodies on wildlife issues.

· Promoting habitat creation and conservation in North Somerset.

· Encouraging sustainable lifestyles.

What we do
We record the local wildlife, flowers, trees and hedges, we monitor bat and bird populations,

thereby helping to protect our local habitats.

Training

There are free training sessions for all wardens who would like to increase their own identification and monitoring skills

Membership
Membership is open to anyone wishing to support the aims of the North Somerset Parish Wildlife group - the commitment and degree of involvement is up to you. There is a charge of £3 per an. for individuals and £5 for families.
